somewhere over the rainbow

Over the rainbow shawl, that is!

Yarn: Kauni Wool 8/2 Effektgarn in color EQ (180 gram skein) on US8 needles

I started this to have a project on my train rides home for Thanksgiving, and it was a simple but pleasing lace pattern.

Oh wow, that's come out brilliantly! I hope it drew some admiring interest on the train - I know it wasn't finished then, but it certainly deserved to!

Beautiful! It looks like a nice size too. I feel like mine is too small, so I think I'm going to have to undo the bind-off and start another ball. But I like my shawls BIG.
