You may have figured out by now that I have rather an affinity for most things Canadian. So, when I found there was going to be a Canadian tourism thing in Copley Square last week, I had to go.
There was an old streetcar:

And, of course, it wouldn't be a Canadian event without a Canadian Mountie:
He wasn't Paul Gross, alas, but he was nice, and he seemed to be having a ball hamming it up in all of the pictures he was taking with visitors.
And then my mother told me that one of my great aunt's four marriages was to a Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer. Maybe that's where I get it... :)
